Working Out, Pigging Out

Thank you all for checking in and commenting. Especially those who have offered support and information on Crohn’s//Colitis. I went for a long walk yesterday, cried a really good hard cry, felt sorry for myself for about an hour, and then put my game face back on. It’s my life. I have the disease, it DOES NOT have me.

Diet news: I slid off my “lifestyle change” bandwagon for a few hours. Luckily I caught it before a few days had gone by and then I’m all upset at myself. Does anyone else feel like when they exerecise more, they feel it’s okay to eat more? Bad thinking, but I do it all the time. I have always been an active person so working out everyday from 40 minutes to (yeterday) 4 hours is no big deal. It’ll all fun stuff that I love to do: hike, walk, play silly sports, dance

I love to swim too, but that’s a tad more challenging in Korea.

Anyway, I didn’t want to eat chocolate, so I bought the Korean Version of CoCo Pebbles and munched on those. OOOPS! So, I ate more than I was intending. Granted I burned close to 850 calories yesterday, but today the scale bumped me up a pound.

So, it’s a brand new day and I’m starting in a brand new way.

Positives:
- I have started turning to fruit first
- my Crohn’s symptoms are under control again (thank God)
- I am no longer in pain
- I have a very very supporting man in my life who makes me smile
- I have 5 days until I see him
- I have 2.5 weeks until I see my family back in the States.
-I have all of you who are keeping me healthy, happy, and feeling like it’s ok that this is hard because if it wasn’t hard, it wouldn’t be worth it :-)

(we’re not focusing on the negatives. No need.)

~~I wish there was an easier way to view everyone’s blog than going to all the homepages~~

THANK YOU!!
