Hardest Part of the Day, er, Night
Okay blogging blogging blogging to keep my hands occupied. It’s after dinner. There are snacks out on the table. I want them. I can do so fantastically during the day, but coming 8pm until I fall asleep around 1 or 2am, I snack. I snack on all sorts of things but never anything healthy.
So here’s the deal. I see what I’m doing and it’s got to stop. If I stop it enough, then I’ll break this bad habit. I want to feel good in the morning. Lighter. Accomplished. To do that, I need to put.the.snacks.away.
I can fruit at any time of day, and that is the only thing I allow myself to eat after dinner. I tried to cut out snacking all together, and we all know where that led. 11pm and secretly binging on EVERYTHING. “Secretly” binging from myself from finding out. Yeah, I dunno. I know it’s bad.
I also have water. So between water, fruit, and the mindset to not let food in my room or near my face until I wake up tomorrow, I will slowly train myself to be healthy. Dear God, this is hard.
you can do it!! Good luck!
I think after dinner snacking might be the most difficult for a lot of us. Once you get into a routine of not doing it, it won’t be a problem for you. Just try really really hard for the next week to tell yourself NO. If you can do it for a week, you know you can do it! At least that’s how I look at it.
